 | James Blue - Chief Executive Officer Jim joined the firm in 1989 and now serves as the CEO of Marsh & McLennan Agency's New England Region. Jim devotes much of his time to direct client contact and firmly believes that building solid relationships results in providing the best possible services to our clients. As an entrepreneur with strong business acumen, his approach to solving clients’ problems is strategic first and tactical second. He is resolute to Marsh & McLennan Agency’s 360° approach to our clients and relentless in his pursuit of integration across all practices, providing a full complement of services to satisfy every client need. Jim earned his undergraduate degree from Boston College. |  | Phil Litos - Chief Operating Officer Phil brings over 30 years of executive level management experience in the health benefits industry to Marsh & McLennan Agency. During his tenure at Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA, he held a variety of senior positions, the last nine years serving as vice president. His responsibilities included directing the claims and customer service operations, building new distribution channels and overseeing national and major account client relationships. As Chief Operating Officer of Marsh & McLennan Agency's New England Region, Phil is responsible for sales, practice management and overall operations of the business. |  | Peter Pedro, Jr. - Senior Vice President, New Business Development Peter joined the Company in 1999 as Senior Vice President and is directly responsible for identifying and nurturing strategic relationships for the firm. He brings over 19 years of experience in the employee benefits field holding senior positions in Sales, Underwriting and Client Management. Prior to joining Marsh & McLennan Agency, he served as director of sales for Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA. Peter is an active member of Human Resource Leadership Forum and is considered an expert in the employee benefits field. In 1997 he was selected by the Boston Business Journal for their annual 40 Under 40 Award. He is a trustee of Associated Early Care & Education, Boston Health Care for the Homeless, Bottom Line and Agganis Foundation. Peter has authored and published several articles on various employee benefit topics. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Albany 1990 and was inducted into their Athletic Hall of Fame in 1997. |  | William L. Granahan - Senior Vice President, Property & Casualty With over 30 years experience in the risk management, consulting and insurance industry, Bill serves as Senior Vice President of Property & Casualty, offering a consultative approach to corporate risk management strategy, loss control management, commercial liability insurance, executive protection, and employee benefit consulting services. Prior to joining Marsh & McLennan Agency, Bill developed and managed Risk Management Consulting practices at IRMC, Albert Risk Management, Milliman USA and was COO at Betterley Risk Consultants. Bill specializes in business risk analysis, alternative risk financing and insurance management services. Within the industry he has spoken at numerous national conferences and seminars including eighteen national RIMS conferences and has authored numerous articles for periodicals over the years. Bill has a Master of Arts degree from Boston College and a Bachelor of Arts degree (cum laude) from Assumption College. He earned his Certified Management Consultant (CMC), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), and Licensed Insurance Advisor (LIA) designations. |  | Christopher J. DeLorey - Senior Vice President, New Business Development Chris began his career as a life insurance agent, then became an employee benefits consultant so that he could better advocate on behalf of his clients who entrust him with the well being of their employees. As principal of Bostonian Solutions, Inc., he is committed to helping companies manage their health care costs. Chris actively promotes the importance of a stable health insurance system in Massachusetts and on a national level. Chris was an original member of the Governor’s Quality and Cost Council, an integral part of the landmark healthcare reform legislation in Massachusetts. As a recognized expert in the field, he is a frequent speaker on health insurance issues for the Massachusetts Association of Approved Private Schools, the Massachusetts Municipal Association, and other civic groups. Chris received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont. He holds life, accident and health; Series 6 and 63 and is a Life Underwriters’ Training Council Fellow (LUTCF). Chris lives in Belmont, MA with his wife and three children. |  | Lori Baronian - HR Director With over 18 years of experience in talent acquisition and human resources, Lori leads the HR function for Marsh & McLennan Agency's New England region, where she's focused on attracting top talent and providing growth and development opportunities for our colleagues while strengthening the organization's performance. Lori serves as a relationship agent to our highly regarded network of HR leaders connecting them to opportunities, other professionals and resources. Prior to joining the organization in 2007, Lori worked for Pepsi Beverages Company and Sun Life Financial. She began her career in the staffing industry, in new business development and recruiting spanning diverse disciplines including high tech, finance, administrative and light industrial. She is a member of New England Human Resources Association and is actively involved with the charitable endeavors of Bottom Line Organization. Lori holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Rhode Island and has recently joined RI based Leading Women as Marsh & McLennan Agency expands its presence into Rhode Island. |  | Robert Clark, AIF® - Senior Vice President, Retirement Services Bob oversees the strategic direction and business development for Marsh & McLennan Agency's Retirement Services practice in the New England Region. He has extensive experience in all aspects of the management of retirement plans including plan design, investments, fiduciary responsibility, cost containment and employee communication. Prior to joining Marsh & McLennan Agency, locally known as Bostonian Group in 2005, Bob spent over 20 years in the retirement industry working for UBS, New York Life Investment Management and CIGNA in a variety of positions including 401(k) sales and marketing, pension investment consulting and retirement plan consulting. Bob has achieved the AIF® designation, and holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses. |  | Maureen Ervin - Controller Maureen joined the Company in 2006 and brings over 20 years of experience in public and private practice. Maureen is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a master’s degree in taxation from Bentley University. As the controller of Marsh & McLennan Agency’s New England Region she is responsible for improving profitability, establishing financial and business metrics and strengthening business operations and controls. Prior to joining the firm, Maureen worked as the controller for Direct Federal Credit Union, a large regional credit union with more than $750M in assets. Maureen currently serves in a consulting capacity to several community and civic organizations. |  | John Mancuso - Senior Vice President, Executive Benefits Prior to joining the firm in 2003, John was with the employee benefits consulting practices of PricewaterhouseCoopers and Watson Wyatt Worldwide. John has extensive experience with executive compensation and benefits design, financing, compliance, communication and education, administration, investments and conducts Executive Total Rewards assessments to optimize the return on executive rewards programs. John also has extensive experience in strategic plan design, compliance, administration, employee education, investments and technology services for qualified and non-qualified deferred compensation plans in for profit and tax-exempt employers for defined benefit and defined contribution plans. John has written several articles and presented at many seminars on Total Rewards and retirement and capital accumulation plan design strategy. He has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Merrimack College, a master of business administration from Northeastern University and a certificate in benefits administration from Bentley College. John holds life, accident, and health; FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses. He currently serves on the Board of the New England Employee Benefits Council (NEEBC). |  | Randy Johnson - Vice President, New Business Development Randy Brings over 15 years of employee benefits experience to Marsh & McLennan Agency and serves as Vice President of New Business Development. He is accountable for new business and managing producers on new business development. Randy has held many senior positions in Sales, Underwriting and Client Services and most recently served as Employee Benefits Practice Leader for the Boston based insurance brokerage firm USI New England. Randy provides strategic advice and consulting expertise to develop comprehensive and cost effective employee benefit programs. He helps advise companies in areas such as plan design, funding and cost containment for group medical, dental, life & disability, as well as flexible benefits, business travel accident and outsourcing services. Recognized as a trusted advisor, Randy proactively develops pragmatic and forward-thinking solutions to the rising cost of providing coverage to Marsh & McLennan Agency’s clients most important assets, their employees. Randy received his bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and has achieved his life, accident and health license. He currently resides in Reading, MA with his wife and two daughters. |  | Rick Reed, CEBS, AIF® - Managing Director, Retirement Services Rick joined the firm in 2004, bringing significant expertise in retirement plans and market analysis. Rick oversees the servicing of the firm's retirement clients and manages a team of consultants. Prior to joining Marsh & McLennan Agency, Rick worked as a senior relationship manager at Diversified Investment Advisors and managed large corporate retirement plans at MFS Retirement Services. Rick’s experience includes building client relations, retirement plan design and implementation, investment analysis and employee communications. Rick has a master of business administration from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and holds certified employee benefits specialist (CEBS) and certified fund specialist (CFS) designations. He has achieved the AIF® designation, and is FINRA Series 7, 63 and 66 licensed. | 
| Marie Chalmers - Managing Director, Employee Benefits Services Marie brings over 35 years of experience within the Employee Benefits industry and presently oversees all operations of Marsh & McLennan Agency New England Region’s Employee Benefits Practice. Marie specializes in leading strategic consulting with clients, vendor relationship management and coordinating best practices for client services. Prior to joining Marsh & McLennan Agency, Marie served as a Principal at Mercer for six years, leading the implementation and adoption of employee benefit strategies for clients. She was a member of the US Health Care Reform Task Force, responsible for educating clients and colleagues on the impact of this legislation, and led the HCR Workgroup focusing on collateral for small and mid-size organizations. Chalmers has also held positions at Aon Consulting and The New England in their employee benefits divisions. She holds her MA Life and Health Brokers License, P&C Advisors License and is also a Registered Representative and Principal with the NASD. |
